Granny's gone and done it again

I thought I got shot, so my first instinct was to dive down by my car.. I had just showered after mowing the lawn.. Got dressed and was on my way out.. The whole right side of my face is swollen, it got me right by the outside corner of my right eye, just below the end of my eye brow.. It was a good size wasp, the front of the body was a dark reddish and the back half black.. I found their nest (hive?), right underside of the top of my garage door.. Tho I had Eliminator wasp & hornet killer, I grabbed my shotgun first, I would of made a mess of my garage door, but I was mad enough; so I took the spray can and empty the whole thing all over the place.. I’ll be looking out for the lit fckrs, I’ll make sure they don’t come back.. From this day on I’m declaring war on all wasps, hornets and bees..:barnie:he

I picked up a dead one, here it is..

Anyone recognize it??
Yes we have the exact same wasp
We have
Red wasp
Paper wasp
Black doggers(diggers)
We also have ones with long stingers & yellow wasp
Not including the different types of bees:barniejust bought more spray today

last I heard no new calves BUT at least a couple ducklings.
Your Yaks are giving birth to ducklings? Will wonders never cease!

I swear next time I get stuck in that mower and its gonna burn up I am going to let it.
Why is it getting stuck so much??? Oh, I see later you said something about tall grass. Mine doesn't get stuck in that, it just doesn't mow it well. Try taking maybe a 2/3 mower deck width at a time, maybe even only a half.

OH MY :sick some one needs an over the shoulder boulder holder aka flopper stopper

at least in that dress and looks like bozo did her make up
And did you happen to see the signs on the wall behind her? Fashion Awards! :lau Man if she was making a fashion statement, I'd hate to see the ones who didn't look good in what they wore. She looked more like she was drunk coming out of a bar than at an award ceremony. Probably just a bad photo and she pulled the strap up and looked like a normal human 2 seconds later.

You must have good vision... driving at night in the rain. Not my favorite thing anymore.
Mine either. Oncoming headlights screw up my vision.

The next morning, hubs told me the mountain lion story. :hmm Now I will be worried to let Scooter out late.
Geez, I would be too!

That must be a guy thing. Can’t imangine unless I was putting a baby to sleep.
Ha! DD1 was great at falling asleep in the car. Until it stopped. Then she woke up. Didn't matter if it was a stop sign, red light or we had pulled into the driveway.

Bruce, Thanks for the tips. Where were you last night ! haha
SLEEPING!! Y'all stay up too late for me. I was all caught up at 10:30 and at 7 this morning I was 15+ pages behind!

He said the fins acted like a mulching blade and way better then other blades.
Yep, I think mine also say mulching on the description. I FINALLY found the mulch kit cover for the side of the mower deck that has the discharge hole and chute. Now I can mulch instead of throw and make piles of stuff.

the highest I say today was 95* but missed checking during the hottest part of the day.

AND now this for the rest of the evening
