I watched a woman one time with 42 serama eggs pipped in her bator take her hand and crunch the eggs as she was saying "I dont think these guys got enough moisture ". I about threw up right there.

Spent 45 min. coming up with what I thought was the perfect name for Campings roo only to find out I got the wrong roo and I named it by color. 

Sorry granny. I've been cleaning all day. The kids were literally falling over boxes and packing garbage. I'm so ready for their daddy to get home and wrangle them a bit.

Granny!! I finally figured out how to divide everyone up and not need new pens.

I'm going to put the OE marans and the blue cochin together in the broody suite. I'm going to put the HRIR quad in the ugly coop. It'll be crowded, but they'll survive. Then every other pullet/hen stays in the layer coop and they'll be under sapphire or EE roos (until I get rid of them).
