I’ve had them before. Never 2 together but I had a chill guy in a tank with some mollies and guppies. He did great. I’ve had others that were super aggressive that wouldn’t do well with friends.

lol she wouldn’t. She’s not thrilled but she won’t mess with them. She’s got death hands. I had Mr. Blue for almost 10 years and she decided to clean him out for me. He was in a white plastic cup in the tub. He went from a blue to white fish. Weirdest thing I ever seen.

I was going to get Yertle some fish. But pet value doesn’t sell animals other than overpriced betas! Guess I have to wait until cincy to get him some.

you had a fighting fish for 10 yrs ? I thought they only lived a yr. Mine has been long gone . I think the shark got him. I still have danios and tetras.

Thanks! I really like his color, still thinking of a name. He seems calm so he might get friends.

I know, I need another but have no room. I’d like a tall dresser with deep drawers.
What kind of betta would you get? Walmart has the cheapest here, I looked in the pet store but they wanted $12 for a normal beta!

yes! I got him from Walmart when he was smaller/younger. He got huge! His body was bigger than my thumb, not counting the fins and tail.
This last one we had for 3-4years. Mom refused to heat his water. I’m pretty sure he got too cold. It was her fish.

Lol she kills plants and fish. I brought my aloe plant in tonight because of the cold and I told her not to touch it. The thing is huge. I’ve only had it since June but it has thrived in the garage.

ohh Alley, I didnt heat mine. Oops maybe that why a ton of them died. I have a heater sitting next to the tank .
