My last rouge polish roo was taken last night.

LOL Some of them dont get winter. Seramas too but I have about 30 pullets/hens to one old roo so I doubt there will be any more littles

BUT it won't stop them from setting on what will become hidden "stink bombs' when they "blow" I can just picture the story you will tell when it happens

all of my "old hens" are getting a reprieve at least until the pullets are laying "decent sized eggs"

because they know if they lay in the nest the 'monster" will come and take their children and pitch them over the fence.

I am not sure , can't remember if they lay large or bigger eggs and how many they average either.
