LOL Some of them dont get winter. Seramas too but I have about 30 pullets/hens to one old roo so I doubt there will be any more littles

Twist, there are eggs all over that coop right now ! I dont know why their not laying in the nest.BUT it won't stop them from setting on what will become hidden "stink bombs' when they "blow"I can just picture the story you will tell when it happens

so not til spring ? I was going to ask you if you have checked out the marens breed ? I bet your buyers would like the eggs. They are all season birds large eggs dont remember how many but different colors as well.all of my "old hens" are getting a reprieve at least until the pullets are laying "decent sized eggs"

hahahaaa I guess that is how they see it.because they know if they lay in the nest the 'monster" will come and take their children and pitch them over the fence.
largeI am not sure , can't remember if they lay large or bigger eggs and how many they average either.
