Existing law was broken and consequences ensued. They are talking about releasing offenders who are currently in jail for possession if the law changes. Big dealers under this would stay in the clink... because they didn't pay any TAXES!

Doubtful. Fact is, a crime was committed at the the time. Right or wrong, person made a choice.

They raised the freeway speed limit here several years ago. Can you imagine having to return all that money to speeders who would no longer be speeding under the new limit? Never going to happen.

Nah, those people were over the new limit as well. What ever it is The cops don't usually stop anyone who isn't at least 10 MPH over. I doubt they raised the limit by 15 MPH.

Before my step-sister and her husband came for a couple of nights, I warned them this place is clutter hell. Isn't going to change, it will be worse than you are likely imagining.
