Granny's gone and done it again

I just found out that the swap is tomorrow. Idk if i can drag my butt over there that early. Neck and shoulder still stiff.

could that be from holding your head differently while you are quilting ??

SO I am sitting at the table this am reading in the paper how the next 3 months of winter are supposed to be warmer then normal while it looks like a brazillian feather pillows were all opened at the same time. WET HEAVY SNOW finally got to the farm did 50 on the interstate and 40 on enchanted highway. Saw one car in ditch already and then a semi-tanker truck "sort of" in the ditch.

Vet actually beat me to the farm. The girls did the chute pretty well considering that I know the 2 , 2year olds have seen a chute system maybe once in their lives.

The 10 year old (Choice -golden trim) was first thru. First the vet tried drawing blood from the bottom base of the tail, after MANY attempts he gave up and moved to the head, Still issues either I have "vampire" yaks that are down many quarts of blood OR because of the cold the veins were "hiding" I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH A PISSED OF YAK IN MY LIFE as the 10 year old (Choice) She actually had rings of both white and red around her pupils by the time the vet was finished drawing blood.

Sunny (royal) is just evil , she does this I am nice and love people please pet or scratch my head and then when you are not "ALERT" WHAM she tries to nail your hand/arm with the side of her head/horns. I warned the vet tech/assistant before she could get him. Also problems getting blood out of her.

Nugget (Golden trim) 2 year old was SUPER good about the whole thing other then she couldn't OR wouldn't leave the squeeze chute when we were done with her. UFFDA

I left the farm about 2 pm and we were over 5 inches of snow there already !!

Much slower driving on way back to town and visibility was maybe 1/4 mile in the good spots.

Stopped at grocery store in case Robert doesn't get in tomorrow to get some of the specials before they go off at midnight on Sat. Spent 69.00 saved $81.00 pretty chuffed about that. Got a 14 lb turkey for about 6 bucks

sorted and packaged many many eggs,

OH and my truck doors managed to freeze shut while I was in the truck driving home. Had to crawl in the back and pull/hold the latch open and kick the door open at the same time.

Roads are like skating rinks as Dickinson hasn't done any snow removal yet . :rant They won't don't start until it quits snowing. PERIOD :mad::mad:
