Were you wearing a dress or a skirt such that your undies could drop to your knees? Kinda hard to get past the crotch if you are wearing pants.

He just has really sensitive skin. The dry air makes his skin dry, then the eczema will make blisters in his knees and elbows.

You should send that to the "A Way With Words" radio program. They sometimes tell about such misunderstandings of what people hear. Like when my step-mother YEARS ago told me a particular flower was a Bag O' Panthers. OK, I WAS in the back seat and couldn't hear well. What she REALLY said was Agapanthus. Joked about that the rest of her life any time we saw one. Yep, that is a Bag O' Panthers flower.
