Granny's gone and done it again

:idunno have never medicated my birds

Neither have I. I am being told I am wrong to not worm my birds twice a year. Cause you know worms are bad.

No, I am not joking. Adults are telling new people to worm their flock every Spring and Fall and that you can eat the eggs during the withdrawal period.

had to change shirts and all kitchen towels, dish rags are now in the washer, Second load of clothes for the day

The 2 breasts with skin on came to about 4 pounds or so , the 2 single breasts no skin about 1 1 /4 pounds and legs and trimmings little under 4 pounds.

I did debone all of the breasts.

I had been a long time since I have butchered a duck and was a little out of practice.

NEXT time I am NOT doing it after pin feather season. OMFG :he:th
What is pin feather season?

you all remember when those scent packets came out that you could stick in your vacuum. Mom got a pine one I think , Dad came home and said "who ate needles and then farted a pine tree in the house" :lau that was the end of store bought scents in the house. Other then original Lysol

pin feathers are those nasty little just developing/growing either replacement feathers or additional feathers for the cold weather. They are a ROYAL pain to pluck from the skin.

I dropped some peppermint EO into the heat vents for the house.
Heater kicks on and the house smells of peppermint
