How long have you lived where you lived? I know they hit me with a “supplemental” tax bill that I was supposed to pay when we moved in. I mistakenly thought all taxes were taken care of with our mortgage - so when we went to refinance it showed that we owed. Oops.

A very long time. Like 20 years.

You can set it up to be included in the mortgage. They encourage that, so you are not as aware of stinking high the taxes are.
