Alpacas are too small to deal with coyotes.But alpacas are cuter.
Emu would keep the fox away... but then we wouldn't be able to go in the back yard!

That is a long article! I didn't know there are 3 subspecies either. Something I read said they are nomadic in nature. Hard to think of them confined. But then we keep parakeets in cages, and they fly around wild down under.It's a way of describing mental status. Here's that article

We got real ones around here. Haven't heard of any sightings in several years. They eat cats.But so will fake bobcat pee.
