From the time my pups are born I hold them on their backs (like a baby) and mess with their feet, toes, trim nails with a toe nail clippers and mess with the inside of their mouths and brush them. Then not so many behavior problems when they are adults. I also trim their mops between their toes and on the bottoms of their feet. Otherwise I end up with 6 inch around muddy foot print's or puddles from the snow on the floors. And I mess with their ears as well and take food from them while eating . NOTHING worse or more dangerous for little kids then a food protective dog IMHO
