Sure wish they would kick the Gremlins off. I keep restarting my phone, but the dang little buggers keep coming back. Talk about a high-jacked thread, takes me forever to type out a post

I couldnt post last night and part of this am.

Personally I try to avoid it, but lots around here do.

if you google it you get just as many Its good for them as you do You cant feed it.  also a Stop their laying which if true would be great for egg bound hens.

Same thing with feeding garlic. Lots say don't. Lots of folks grow their own citrus and feed it to chickens. Lots of folks believe they need a rooster for the hens to lay.

I don't have spare citrus, so I don't worry about it. Mollie fed them satsumas from her tree while she watched them, no harm came of it. So, there you go. No real answers. :p

They're like little oranges. A little like halos. Sweet and easy to peel.

He was in great shape before the girls started cycling  and then he lost a little condition.
don't all guys tone down when they settle with the lady(s)? :P
OH NO, they don't. Mine had 30+ mature hens to party with, but oh no, he wasn't happy with just that. I could not even get in the outdoor runs without being attacked. Filling waterer's was a nightmare. Got to where I had to carry a 1x1x1x1 composite deck railing spoke in with me. Till the day he got me too many times. Was waiting for hubs to put him down. Ended up it was the jerk lucky day. He nailed me twice before I could get the femented feed put in the dish. That was his last time, he never made it as a date on hubby's calandar.
