The lightest one at the top was a nugget egg. The example above was a tiny one. They weren’t banty or fairy eggs but they were always my smallest ones.

I don't recall which hatchery it was. I want to say Mt Healthy cause the husband made a joke about the birds not being very Healthy.

Medium and not that many. They started late in the season, too. Well after everyone else. They were eye candy.

Morning all, Not feeling the best. Trying to figure out what I have to do today compared to what can wait one more day.
H2o, it was Star, the cocker old girl. She panted all last night. Dont seem to be doing it now.

37 this morning. We didn’t turn the heat on so it was cold in the house. All the bators were low. Crazy. Two days ago I was having crazy temp spikes because it was so hot outside.

One blue egg is internally pipped since last night. I’m about to go shopping to give it a chance to warm up and break through. Otherwise I’m making an air hole.

H20, I was bending over cleaning up dog vomit and a sharp pain grabbed my knee and now its swollen and hot . I cant do this right now. Too much other stuff to do. Having a hard time walking even w/ a cane. Most times something like this happens I heal fast.

Apply ice 15 minutes on, 15 min off. Repeat.

Mine were daily layers until this molt started.

Probably/ We got rid of them and I got JGs, Wellies, Nankins, Silkies and a few other breeds to try. We fell in love with the JGs. Wellies we can take or leave. Males were aggressive. I had one flog me and I kicked a feild goal with him when he pecked my leg. After that none of the males went after me.

So we had a coyote in the backyard last night. I told hubs he needs to teach me how to use his big pellet gun.

...I was unloading the truck with the little one that wouldn’t deter a fly...all it’s good for is squirrels and bunnies...the other one might not kill a coyote (well. It might at super close range with the right shot but with me behind it I wouldn’t count on it) but would make it think twice for sure.
