I was icing it. Poor Tom. He seen me on the cane and is washing dishes now. I dont know how I can get out to water the seramas. Thats all thats needed Im about sure but I always check anyway.
So, we are talking about 2 different chickens last night. The BR and SS I said I had the SS as eye candy and talking Twist into them. Peeps, I dont think I was even talking about a SS. Fact is, I have 3 of those . They are in the serama coop because they are still littles. I dont even know the breed in my LF coop I was thinking of. Sorry about that. On to the BR I DO have one of those. LOL I dont know if she is laying yet or not. I have a cuckoo maren and they look the same.

Yes but this aint that either. All I remember is they are a land race and she is calico looking like the SS but brighter color

Maybe you were thinking of Jubilee orps? Now i see others posted that already.

They got aggressive with my children. Could not keep feed in front of them. They ate 3 times what the Jersey Giants ate. Just was not impressed and actually was happy to see them go,

I have no idea how much any of my hens eat since they have a 24x7 feeder in the coop. I just know that the 19 are eating a LOT more now than in the summer when I had 14 adults and 5 juveniles all foraging outside during the day.

never mind ALL chick prices went up even lorps are 3.07 a chick

Guess you just need to breed your own then.

The lightest one at the top was a nugget egg. The example above was a tiny one. They weren’t banty or fairy eggs but they were always my smallest ones.
