Granny's gone and done it again

Morning granny. I'm about to head back to the consignment shop. I filled another bag while waiting for coffee to brew. :yesss:

Granny, could he improve his snacking habits? Maybe apples (lots of fiber) for his in between meal snack? Foods that are high in fiber will help things keep moving.

i keep buying them but the chickens end up with them. He drinks apple juice though.
I am pizzed at my so called family. wont tell me anything about my sister.
You might have to be tough & not purchase the snacks he normally likes to eat & then slowly start adding in more fruits & stuff. He wont like it at first, but you will probably find that if he's hungry enough he will eat what you prepare. New sil is experiencing that right now, haha. He is a huge junk food junkie, but it's the beginning of a new year with all deductibles that have to be met on his & dd meds. Means less money for snacks so he has been eating more normal meals that I prepare instead haha, makes me laugh.

Morning H2o, my mom didn't have a name for them, it was hubbies family that called them "doughgods" probably someone said it wrong & the name stuck

It's funny, we never had them growing up, but when I was 18 my mom remarried and had 2 more babies.. when I came home to visit, she was making theses for my baby brothers. For me it was love at first bite.. I am a very emotional eater.

X2

I am getting off sugar after the holiday binge. It is hard the first few weeks. Once you start eating good whole food again, you actually crave it.

Is it possible to block off that heat register that is right there by his head of his bed. That dries him out, Vasoline every night in the nose for the nose bleeds & a second pillow under his head will help with the cough. Give him a teaspoon of honey, that will coat his throat for a few minutes at least.

All great suggestions -- should help if you can get him to cooperate!

57* this am. Going up to 76 today.

Send it this way -- just getting above freezing would be great!

Sorry about your headache - hope you get some relief, those are no fun at all.
Mornings, CB didnt even set his alarm . That boy had plans . Bus woke me up honking for him. I told Tom he was having pain again and he said that boy just eats too much. He does eat a lot. More then we do. He wants a small meal every 2 hrs. it seems .

Growing boy ? Not eating good food .

Anyway, I am dreading that trip into town this am, It is a small mission. about an hrs. drive one way. It will be worth it in the end though so cant complain too much. Its help with my electric bill . I guess they didnt have all the info they needed for the 3rd time now.

Remind me again which side of the county line you fall on----you're in SEIOC territory rather than OVO, right? It is worth it, but still sucks you're having such a hard time getting it done.
I was 2nd in the "sell" line, 4th through the door I think. There were 5-6 sellers behind me, too.

Good luck!!!!

Think I found a cure for the cabin fever setting in on DS and I after all the extra days he's been home this week -- we are going to brave the roads and make a trip to see mom/sister!! The roads are really only bad from here to the other side of Portland -- from there on down to where they are shouldn't be bad at all (at least that's what I'm telling myself, lol). From the sounds of it they need a this visit as much as we do, so it's gotta happen! I get to hug chickens (well, chicken -- there is only one in their flock that is tame)!!!
