You could plant in raised boxes or 5 gallon buckets. Have you looked at the garden threads lately?

no but I tried the 5 gal. buckets 2 yrs ago. Bought tons of the good dirt, didnt get nada.

Many of those bags of soil have a high percentage of sand. Might need fertilizer. Did you drill drain holes i the buckets about 1" up the side , from the bottom?

yes I did and I used miracle grow dirt
