They sound vicious! I managed to keep some gold fish when I was a kid but that's about it.
How big is your crumb? Maybe grind/blend it down a bit so it's finer. If it's runty it maybe struggling.

I have been wetting it and there is some dust in it. flock raiser

And they live forever if you take care of them! I had one for 8+ years until my mom cleaned it. But most people get 2 or more a year cause of improper care.

"You can take a horse to water but you can't make it drink" If it has the will to live granny it will start eating, you have done all you can to help it along.

You are checking it for pasty butt. I had one that wouldn't eat. I gave it s b12 shot. It started eating. It did fine. Can you get some nutridrench for poultry. They have it at our tsc. Not too expensive. It has b vit in it.

umm, I was supposed to. I forgot.  It wont peck at anything. But, it is drinking fine. And all of them has had nothing but Gatorade since hatch. No water yet.

Thanks York, I think I will switch them to regular water now . Fish, like chickens. some are show . The ones at wal mart are not this pretty. You can only have one of them. You can add other fish with him but it has to be fish with small fins .

they have a special way of breeding them. 2 containers or a divider with one on each side. They can tell when the female is ripe and they remove the divider they will mate right away and if not separated will then fight. 2 males together would end in death for one . They will mistake big finned fish for their own kind and fight them as well..
