I've never seen ones like these. So beautiful. We keep the house too cold for them to be comfortable. I bet you have to find a breeder to get these fancy types. Do they have fish shows? more pretty pics here http://saveourgreen.org/allpost/beautiful-betta-fish/#

My Mr Blue looked exactly like the blue one you posted. He came from Walmart lol The others you'd probably find from breeders.

Wash the roots of a small peace lily, Granny,& put in the tank- leaves out. They eat the roots of this plant.
Thanks Lisa for thAt flour site. I have potato yeast rolls rising. I have made them before & love them.
Neat, I was praying for u even though I forgot who lived in Missouri.

Okay. Missed a lot. Granny did you get a betta/Siamese fighting fish?

They need protein they're not herbavores. Grab some betta pellets or mealworms for happy fishie.

I'm back!!! I went into hiding cause we were running up the data but now I have wifi again! YAY!!!

And as much as I love y'all....getting caught up on well over a hundred pages isn't going to happen.

Jane, I cant grow peace lily. green thumb done turned black. I tried them a couple times.

Wishing, glad you got sleep.
I made french toast and sausage pattys. Toast soo good with homemade bread. I cut it thick .

Not yet star, trying to figure what I want. its 3 1/2 gal. LOL
I would take that white one in a heart beat.

Hi Wishing!

My phone says that it's 34 in Farmington, with a high of 36. It's not raining there right now, but doesn't show if there was ice yesterday.
Glad you're feeling better

High of 36! Too cold. Our low was 34 also, frost on the grass this morning, but we should hit upper 50s. Bright and sunny now.

Going to kitchen to roll out my potato rolls. No one is talking to me. Need to feed critters also.

Sorry jane, I was doing all the dishes I didn't have the heart to do yesterday. Now my fingers are all pruny.

Isn't that white one beautiful?? I like the spotted one too. One thing I read about them (was considering a tank for the boys for Christmas, so you know... research!) was that they do not do well in flowing water, so if you have that kind of waterfall filter, it's not good for them, or you need to provide spots out of the current for them to rest. They prefer still or slow moving water... in the flooded rice paddies all over Asia.

I have a bubbler in there. The filter is run by air as well and not strong at all. The bubbler is pretty strong though.

Bubbler is okay, they can just stay to the side. If you like them, maybe a pet store would have some of the prettier ones, but I bet they are pricey. Birthday present to yourself??

I stopped at the only pet store I know of and they were waiting for 12 bettas . its too far.
