Granny's gone and done it again

well that sucks. I figured you would know w/o looking it up. Did you get your shopping done ?
Got enough done... new carton of Rocky Road ice cream :p.

Computer seems to be behaving now.
So, here's the deal with that bird. It's a Northern Royal Flycatcher. There are plenty of other Royal Flycatchers that have different ranges. Royal seems to be mostly in Mexico and central America.
Northern has the red crest, other type has yellow and they extend down into south America.

But then sometimes the red crested one is identified as a Royal Amazonian Flycatcher, so you see there isn't an easy answer.

Better make REAL sure they know what to do with the marked trees. I think it is more usual to mark the ones you want cut down.
haha! Yes, I know. We started by need 2 large dead pines removed and decided to include 2 other pines that are still alive, and then please take away those 5 clumps of trashy privets, and oh, see how there are so many young oaks coming up? can you clear those out too, but not this one or that and not the white oaks. And then they said to take out the bay, which is a carrier for the Sudden Oak Death disease, so that's coming out too and the larger Coast Live Oaks are getting limbed up so they don't scratch the neighbors' cars going by.
It got kind of involved. I am marking trees I don't want to lose. Fewer of those, but not by much.

Name it Nair!

Wishing that is awsome. I never seen anything like it. (and probably never will)
I picked those links because they had maps showing the ranges. I am always amazed at how many creatures are out there that I have never seen.

It's still raining here. HA! Take that, pollen!
