Good morning. Grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning and yard work are on the agenda today. The fog is back again, and like yesterday, it's going to stay in the 40s until (or if) the sun comes out. Too cold for me! Got to bundle up. If I lived in N.Dakota, you would never see me... I would just be a round ball of layered jackets and snow pants, hats and scarves... rolling around in the snow. Getting goose bumps just thinking about it. In Hawaii, they call that getting chicken skin! ahhh... Hawaii... ahhh... warm Hawaii...
Guess what I seen this am ? the baby chick eating . LOL I guess the oil, butt wiping and scrambled eggs did the trick. I think I opened the crop area up by shoving the egg down. I dont know if its eating enough but it has the hang of it anyway. There is hope .
where are all my morning peeps ? CBs alarm didnt go off and he just woke me. He is missing too much school.
LOL - it's always kind of funny and sad at the same time to see the effort the poor guys put into their dance and then to see the girls have zero appreciation of it.

Sounds like a busy day - hope you stayed warm! This is our last day of freezing weather - tomorrow it warms up to above freezing *and* we start four days of heavy rain so from ice to flooding we go!
gold fish is the nastiest fish there are and you must of had it in the sun or next to a window for the algae to grow. there are things you can use to keep the algae away.
Gold fish aren't nasty- - - they just have the misfortune of ending up in situations where the keepers are not aware of what it actually takes to keep a healthy, clean goldfish environment -- usually overcrowded, underfiltered and at the wrong temperatures/with the wrong tank mates.....but that applies to a lot of other fish too, which is sad.
Good luck at the clinic tomorrow. Write your note so you don't forget to tell them when you don't take pills. Seems like that's really what you do. You need them most of the time but don't take them! goodnight!
Well. Dog run is complete. Chicken run was also made this am...and hubs poked holes in the chain link of he dog run so the girls could go in there as well - he felt bad the chicken run was so small!
(We realized later that the dog could also easily fit through the chicken hole....good thing they get along so well!)
Back on the topic of dogs...oh my gosh that dog toy. Well...crazy dog ladies need toys too? Womp womp!
Also got the fishies and a bunch of plants today from the old house. And the BBQ. I think I'm just going to do little stops every night on the way home from work just to do more cleaning of stuff and get the last little bits from the house done. Hubs is hoping to get at least the 20 foot container in place this week so we can run the "project toterhome" stuff over. It's supposed to rain again this weekend...guh!
At least I got the girls' coop mucked out. Between the fact that I had straw in there and all the rain...it was pretty gross. (Hence the truck got stuck song). This was just down the road from
Me Friday.
Bear in mind all, I drive a front wheel drive Volvo wagon. I sure was NOT about to ford THAT river! I would have lost all my oxen, and little jimmy may have died of dysentery.
Oh - forgot the best part - my sister had a present for me, a dvd of "The Villain" --- it was one of our dad's FAVORITE movies of all time (along with Blazing Saddles, Gods Must Be Crazy, etc -- gives you an idea of his sense of humor) and we had sat down to watch it at Thanksgiving at her house (she had friends there that had never seen, or even heard of, the movie.......
lol) and darned if her VHS copy didn't get eaten by the machine (yes, VHS,
). Anyway, turns out the next day she went and ordered herself a DVD from Amazon - the day it showed up so did another package with the same thing in it (apparently her friend that was there ordered it for her) and then the next day ANOTHER copy of it came in the mail (my mom's friend who had also been there that day ordered it) AND they ended up with a fourth copy too (can't remember just how that one came about, but it was another gift from someone) --- so she turned around and re-gifted three of the copies one to each of her sisters so we all have one now. DH and DS agreed to watch it with me, may hold them to it tonight.

hi all, I am finally home and wore out. They didnt pee test, didnt want to see my pills . They said its random. oh well. I told them what you said Wishing about how I dont take the last one because I cant sleep so they stuck me on a sleeping /pain pill for bedtime. sigh....
ahhh... Hawaii... ahhh... warm Hawaii...
