They are sort of speckled. Quite cute, with feathered feet.

Wishing, I havent heard anything about your chickens in a while.

Not much to tell. Some are still trying to grow feathers from the molt... you should see poor Spike. Looks moth eaten. I only have one hen laying, my 2 yr Welsummer. The rest gave it up over a month ago. They're getting pretty old.

Yeah, it's a strange year. 4-5 eggs a week isn't much. Hopefully we will get some eggs in the spring. The Serama are doing fine. They never have a hard molt.
