I though of that BUT because they were NOT bangs vaccinated they have to stay on his property for 3 years and can NOT be moved/transported anywhere else except straight to slaughter.

He seems to be getting better. definitely better then when he was a couple months ago.

He's close to your farm? I suppose if getting yaks makes happy and he gets worse, you could help the wife care for them. She wouldn't be able to sell them before the 3 yrs is up?

only for slaughter and he is about 15/20 miles from the farm on way. NOW any calves he produces can be sold no problem

That's a good idea. He may not be as well as you think, or have sun downers where it gets worse at night. His wife might be trying to keep things manageable.
