chunky with carrots and celery, onions and hunks of ham THE ONLY seasoning I used was some black pepper otherwise just the inherent flavors of everything used.
also made some veggie stock from the peelings and such
nooooooooooooo I just don't know if this egg is from her Pepper hen or not.
ohh never thought of that. I just used veggie broth for the first time ever in some soup. I thought it a good idea to get some veggies down the boys. Is that right ?chunky with carrots and celery, onions and hunks of ham THE ONLY seasoning I used was some black pepper otherwise just the inherent flavors of everything used.

Rod was in earlier and picked up 1000 pounds of layer for $213.56 not to shabby layer is still 11.24 for a 50 pound bag and then since we pay the same day we got a bag free and for some reason NO sales tax.![]()

yep great idea and so much more flavor that way. The only time I use water is for boiling taters/ noodles (sometime) and making stock. Otherwise I use my own stock. Healthier and cheaper and JUST plain better and then what ever veggies you make the stock out of you can feed back to the chickens

because it was so cold the last batch didn't last as long as usual This should last around 3 months or so. Rod say's that most of the jumbo and almost jumbo eggs I am getting are from the New HampshiresHatched last July 29![]()
