Bom Dia!
Cold and foggy morning here! Got the boys off to work & school, took Z to the park and am home now to start with some serious cleaning -- also have a goal of doing final organization on the last of things from the move that have been sitting in boxes out in the laundry room/old garage.....we'll see how much I actually get done, lol.

you have to stick your hands in that water to put that little black cap on and off when you fill them . I think they are around $50.00 and the rubber gasket on top is supposed to go bad fast. But I would still give it a go. LOL
LOL strawberry is good with pb
I've got everything from under 1lb to over 5, and they do just fine together, cept for one incident.... That was my fault, integrated the Bantam pullets in with the flock too quickly, and an overly randy cockerel got ahold of her.
I think you'd love bantams, but I'm severely biased.![]()
No worries -- not uncommon and especially with the rubber eggs it seems sometimes those take the girls by surprise more so not surprising when they turn up in odd places.uh ho......someone laid a rubber egg!
On the floor of the coop too..
The new layers have been so good about going into a nest box...
I wish i could have seen who played this.
Im going to guess this is normal of a brand new layer.
I know they are feed all the right amounts of everything..so it just can not be food related.
Right?
I make rice crispie treats by heating the marshmallows in the micro. They blow up and get all schmoopy.
Never watched soaps either, except for this one. Only on once a week when they were showing it, so they had to stuff a lot of action and plot twists into each episode. Heaven forbid if you needed a potty break... you'd never keep up with what was going on.
Love, love, love Downton Abbey!!! Have you seen the new serious that has Michelle Dockery (Mary) in it? SOOOO much a different character for her.....I am distracted. One of the PBS stations is having a Downton Abby marathon.![]()
hmmm... sounds like way too much responsibility. I like my hen-o-bators.
It's special when the kids love what you love! He's got those hens tamed down pretty good. Was impressed that he was holding a Welsummer. Mine is not a people chicken.
I should probably take a pill before I go out to do them. Maybe I should either get the right things I need to take care of them or get rid of chickens altogether.
ya, me either. I just get aggravated doing everything the hard way.I can't picture you with out chickens BUT the pill first sounds like a good idea
