Granny's gone and done it again

Congress will probably vote a raise for themselves, and adjourn until it's safe to be out in public.
Certainly is hard to trust them. They have the chance to do the right thing now. We will see.

Wishing, did you have meat ?
We got a roasted chicken at Costco. They had plenty of other meat for sale. They have a different supply chain than Walmart. Out Walmart runs out of meat and other Walmart brand products if there is a big snowstorm in the Sierras. That is how their trucks get products from their closest distribution center. If the road is closed for snow, we get an empty Walmart for some things. Other name brand products sold there (Orowheat bread, Coors beer, Lays chips, etc) have separate distributors that replenish the shelves, so there is some of those things, but not everything. It's hit and miss.
Lucky for us, there are a lot of other grocery store options, all with their own supply chains, so you can usually find what you need unless there's an emergency like now. Zero TP in any store right now! and a few other things.

So how does meatless chili taste ? Anyone ever make/taste it?
You ever eat baked beans without meat? It's like that except chili flavored. Not bad.

Maybe it is but they were strongly discouraging anyone to do CPR acting like it was cruelty to do so and she didnt deny what I asked her.
Some people have so many medical problems, they likely wouldn't live long either way.

Food stamps are a joke. 5 kids and they gave us like $173.00 a month. And it took 3 months to get them.
It's all about the bureaucracy of government, just like a supply chain for food, there are bureaucratic supply chains that are all about rules and conditions and exemptions and more rules. Feds make a law and states have to scramble to interpret the laws, figure out how to follow them and prove that they've done it correctly, even when the laws are often unclear. There are so many hoops to jump through and so many fingers in the pie that it can take a long time for the person at the end of the chain to get what they need. This is why I'm against the government taking over health care. There is enough bureaucracy in hospital admin... don't need even more.

Maybe they have seen too many times when people aren't ready to let go of a person who is going to die. :( Saving a life or prolonging a death? It's a fine line.
