yeah he's not a fan lol but he's not mean either

poor things are so skinny. A couple of them their breast bone is so prominent it's awful. And one has a messed up leg. 7 were crammed into a medium size dog crate.
Why?

I cant get rid of the string algae and its really bugging me. Everything in there except for 7 tiny fish is a cleaner . 2 corys, the shrimp, all kinds of snails.4 different kinds 2 plecos Their not making a dent in it.

Have you asked at the fish store for something that will kill it? I really think that is the only way. No idea how it actually gets in a tank unless some "spores" are in water that came with some fish? I had it once, probably over 10 years ago. Nasty stuff.

Bruce, did you have any trumpet snails ? Them pond snails look like ticks .
Nope, the only snails I have are those that came (unrequested and free) with either plants or water from the fish store.

grey stain would match the roof.
My mom said dont ever paint brick because you will be doing it every year. Maybe stain is different.

Brick is meant to breathe, so painting causes lots of problems over time. The stain is meant to be absorbed, and doesn’t affect moisture content the way that paint does.

Good old fashioned lime-washing is supposed to actually harden brick and preserve it, but I haven’t made a decision yet. It’s a big change.

I would of never thought brick needed preserving .
