Ah, a blessing. Little one is lucky to have you in her life. No one takes naps with me... except Ming.

I need to divide chocken leg quarters & ground beef into meal size servings before freezing. Hope i dont forget when i get up from rest time.

Ive portioned the chicken & put in the freezer. Cooking chocken for supper to go with veggies. Feel worse after nap. Sinus headache.

we got a nest built in a brooder and CB grabbed the hen and I grabbed the eggs. She was just a little upset. . So we put 3 eggs in then her. I wanted to look at the 4th and it hatched in my hand !

just plop, there it was. I put it under her and she got mad and was stomping on it so I took it back out quickly and tried to warm it while she settled. She did and I slipped it under her again and she took it . she also took some of my skin with her. LOL we turned the lights out and hoping all is fine.

Welcome! Tell us about yourself! How's your flock?

My husband and I live in North Idaho. We have a big flock, 7 geese, 2 dozen quail, 2 muscovy, and a whole mess of chickens and ducks. Plus a couple rabbits and 3 cats that will learn to get along or else!

We're in the middle of moving right now from 5 acres in town to 10 acres in the county. And I'm about done doing the moving. Husband works two jobs, so he's gone all day long and this seems Neverending right about now.
