Jane, thanks for the link It sounds good but I dont have any of those things in the kitchen. I dont have stuff to grill with either. I thought I was buying a tough piece of meat based on the price and would need to maybe do something special to make it tender. like cook it forever in the crock pot.

It'll go farther and be nice as stew meat. We do that sometimes on sale cuts.

Not really. Canned or frozen veg, tomato juice, sausage/beef, salt and pepper. That's enough. It's whatever you want it to be.

I guess I didnt think far enough ahead. I done even have the want to. I am out of soup mix too.
I tried to find some saffron at the store today and all I found was a tube type thing for $15.00 ? Looked like a dog treat in a bottle.

Lisa gave me a big bag of rice. Never made rice before . maybe I can use that with the tomatoes and steak ?
