Granny's gone and done it again

funny polk story, My dad lived next door to me and my mom and sf lived about 20 mins away. SF came to visit and went in my dads yard and picked all his polk. I knew but dad wasnt home. Well, Dad and I went out and stopped at moms where SF was cooking (you guessed it polk) He offered my dad a bite saying how good it was ! I was about to bust a gut . Dad said that IS really good.I am gonna go home and cook mine. Hahaha Man was he fired up when he got home and discovered all his was gone..

I didn't think so. I wonder if I can trade him off for a smaller cockerel on my FB group? Something a bit more friendly, orrrrrrrr, even leave the ladies without a BF until one of the new chicks I have turn out to be a smaller rooski.
If you dont mind him being someones dinner. He is still young and tender.

This loverly gal is in the process of making new corms (AGAIN!) When they are ready, if anyone wants some, let me know. She's a giant spider lily. She's graced the old place with a ton of plants, and I've completely surrounded the house here with them, so any new babies she makes are really excess!

I have been a member on here for about 3 yrs. and have posted mainly in my own thread. The old thread will not be closed but I do ask my family and any new friends to please post here.

We are a family based thread meaning that the people that post here become very close to each other. We strive to treat each other with respect and kindness. We are for the most part a mature themed group. Lots of cutting up and a little bit about chickens. Hopefully you will find homemade crafts, Gardening tips, home life, a few recipes (not mine , your welcome) Yaks galore, A whole hog-pog of chickens from mutts to high brows. and maybe a goat or two.

To my family, I am sorry I am dragging you around and all our pictures, memory's are stored somewhere else. Hopefully , together , we can begin anew like we were never interrupted.

To any that wish to jump in Welcome to Grannys.

This large dog kennel has come in handy in more ways than one. After cleaning it up, I used it to bring home the 4 hens from Castleberry.. Then it struck me how I could actually use it for a brooder. It's the size of 4 of the regular tubs I used on the first batch of chicks I brought home from TSC. In a minute you'll see where they love roosting.. but first.. Belly up to the bar, kids!

I saw someone else using one of those egg trays for a feeder, and I thought it was a good idea.. They made a bigger mess with the store bought feeder. Granny look! All clean butted babies.
