Speaking of toads... that were actually BULLFROGS...
Mugsey has a new home. She was squeaking up a storm on the ride over. Did NOT like her container and wanted OUT. I had read that young ones squeak a lot, so she must be fairly young. This will be a good home for her, even though she needed a little prodding.

The eerie odd lighting is from the thick layer of smoke overhead.

I tried to give the critters some cottage cheese and They were flinging it everywhere. A hunk got on my hand and I barfed. I looked up abilify. Causes nausea, heartburn ect....

This was taken from Mugsey's pond. You could look at the sun directly... perfect orange circle..

This is about a half mile from home. It's all smoke!

From the same spot. Can you see the sun?

Very ominous. Heard on the news just now that 4 people have died from the fire that caused all that smoke.

Leopard frogs are pretty! I'd consider keeping one of those around.
