Granny's gone and done it again

I got two 5 gallon buckets of weeds pulled from the driveway, gave them to the chickens. Put up the rest of the chicken wire on the short side. Picked up a bunch of sticks and tossed them out of the pasture. Then I cleaned out one of the chicken coops that had 2 wagon loads of bedding in it. After that, i came in for a break and it was nearly supper time!
Not much doing here but you could always help with the weed eating and coop building when you are done over there.. :ya :woot

I don't do weed eating, I let the goats do it. I do build coops, but hubby doesn't like it when I do. You are going to have to move closer if you want my help!

Thanks for that info, @CapricornFarm. I kinda joined in late in the game so I didn't know.

@grannyhatchet, apologies and hugs. :hugs Fish are cool. I used to do pond design and raise tropical and exotic goldfish and Koi. I had to give up the ponding due to my neck and shoulder damage from RA. All the vertebrae in my neck are unstable and I have constant muscle spasms as a result. Can't do much shovel or rake work either any more.

For me, Chickens are the lesser of the two evils.

Then there is the osteoporosis and osteoarthritis everywhere else and the side effects from the biologics.

What is that old saying? That which does not kill me makes me stronger? For me it's more like, what don't hurt, don't work.

Be careful with the weedeaters guys.

I used a gas powered one once to clear out a ditch. Didn't see the poison ivy due to the deep grass. The eater sprayed it all over my arms and face/neck.

It was exquisitely miserable. :th
Aw dang!!! Yikes!!!

whee! It’s official! I’ll be sending off my deposit soon.
Now I’m figuring out boy names. I’m half liking goose. Like a majestic snow goose. Or think like the Canada goose. You don’t mess with the Canada goose.

You can get the same effect with a chain saw! I let hubby do any weed eating the goats can't get to. I occasionally cut down a tree , but mostly hubby does those. I heard a tree fall today. It didn't hit the ground, it just bashed into another tree. The ground is really wet right now.
