Granny's gone and done it again

When we first bought our farm there was no electricity in it. Amish built and the young couple wanted to downsize their property.

We stayed off the grid for three years until there was a heat wave and decided that we had enough of roughing it. We were laying wire in 95° weather. We had a generator so we would get up at 5, work until 9, sit in front of our lone fan till evening then work some more till sunset. The day they switched on the power it was 105° didn't even want to know what the heat index was but DH had been in the attic that morning and the air up there was so hot it hurt your lungs to breathe.

The first thing we turned on was the AC!

It has been windy here today. We had a wind gust between 45-50mph. lost my tarp over the broody coop along with some of my netting. Got the netting back up. The tarp is a total loss.

I still need to zip tie chicken wire to more of the cattle panel frames on the hoop coops, but.. things were going backwards as far as coop cooperation today so when i got the rooster roost done I gave up. Tomorrow is another day. I'm 3 boo boos in today and that's enough. Almost cried when I dropped the drawer on the inside of my right ankle and ripped skin off.. got a nice purkle spot there now.
Ouch, try not to abuse yourself. I stood up from scrubbing and bashed my head on a perch.

It was a nice quiet day today had Sunday lunch and time out with my animals. Thank you for asking. How was your day? :)
Great, went and bought some flowers. Cleaned out a chicken coop and scrubbed the walls. Pulled weeds, dug holes for the flowers. And the usual chores.
