Granny's gone and done it again

I had a massive MI weed eating. They called it a stemi. I never did get my energy back from that one. My walk to the house is bad. I cant weed whip and I wont use poison. I found my riding mower will just fit down the walk so thats what I do. The weeds have taken over all my flower beds now. Its sad . I put a lot of work into them. Make every thing you can maintenance free as you can while you can because the day will come when you cant. Honeysuckle is my problem. Its even growing between the siding and the wood of the house. I have decided to embrace it and enjoy the smell and say bye to my Japanese red maples
We are plagued by Virginia creeper and poison ivy, and I am allergic to both. We have honeysuckle too, but it doesn't bother me the way the others do. Goats love honeysuckle too, as well as those other vines.

@CSolis can you burn it out with a weed dragon? We have one that we use from time to time. DH loads a 20lb propane tank on one of our wagons and does the burning. I follow with a sprayer tank filled with water to douse anything that threatens to do more than burn weeds. I may switch to that for the drive way weeds but what I noticed the few times that we used it is that those weeds do not come back to haunt you.
well, you can also harrass it a lot by keeping it cut, but the roots have to die to kill kudzu. Burning surface foliage doesn't kill it.

That is happening to me now, Granny. I am in the process of simplifying my flower gardens or getting rid of them. I hate it because I had great plans to plant native Missouri wild flowers all over the place in beds. Missouri is home to some really beautiful wild flowers. I'm down to three small flower beds now and have accepted that my future enjoyment of wild flowers will be restricted to admiring them in their natural environment...in the wild.

Granny, if I lived closer I would come weed your flower beds. Seems neighbors just are neighborly any more and don't help those around them.

I sit on a step stool to pull weeds. I am down low enough to reach them , and don't have far to bend over. I need to do most of the driveway around my flower garden. Probably get nutrients from the manure I keep digging into the soil. I get bucketful of weeds and put them in chicken runs and on areas where I want grass to grow.
Ya know all that weed eating I do? Daily supply of greens are available for the runs... My kids love to jump right into the middle of the pile and start scratching away.

Guess I had best get back to work scrubbing so I can get the coop done asap. Bbl
I still need to zip tie chicken wire to more of the cattle panel frames on the hoop coops, but.. things were going backwards as far as coop cooperation today so when i got the rooster roost done I gave up. Tomorrow is another day. I'm 3 boo boos in today and that's enough. Almost cried when I dropped the drawer on the inside of my right ankle and ripped skin off.. got a nice purkle spot there now.

Yes, I am perfectly aware that roundup is repurposed agent orange used in Viet Nam to defoliate jungles. But, would you like your whole farm over run with kudzu? Ya can't drink that much kudzu tea.. And I ain't got no goats to eat it.
I sure hope you don't eat Oatmeal.. did you know oatmeal has the highest concentration of glyphosates in it than any other food? Oh yeah, that's roundup.
no I eat no carbs.
