Why would she get a fourth dog?

The same reason we wound up with 7. The heart wants what the heart wants and when the heart knows that if you choose one, the other four have a high probability of being shot and thrown in a ditch...well, you listen to your heart and bring them all home with you and pray for strength!

We had to stop free feeding our two oldest. They were starting to look like barrels with legs. Problem with the Jack Russell mix is she just supplements her meager meal at night with critters that she catches out in the pasture and yard. She doesn't look like a barrel with legs any more, more like a pony keg with legs.

I got one wagon load of bedding out of the hoop coop today, then I was so sweaty I decided to start attaching the hardware cloth to the run for the Seramas . It was cooler out there. The bugs are very hungry tonight. I got about four feet lashed on and it was time for supper. Going out there to see if I can get more of it done. Bbl

I've got pics of them when we first brought them home. This is the only 'adult' pic I have of them at the moment and he is my avatar on BYH.

This is Varn short for Varna. When they were 9 months old. Somebody said, oh, you named him after the wine. No...we named him after the city in Bulgaria where the designer of our speed bike was born. When he designed the bikes he called the design the Varna. We own one of the bikes and our race team was designated Team Varna II.

DH is going to have to upload some recent picks of the other four for me. Besides Varn, there is Ben, Diesel, Roxie and Sidney. When we got them, we were told there were 4 boys and 1 girl who became Sidney. We took them to the vet the next day and that evening when DH picked one of the 'boys' up, I told him to give me the pup. I held it up, belly out and told him to take a good hard look and tell me what was missing. He did and started laughing. Ox wasn't an Ox, he was a Roxie aka Rocki. We still have a good laugh with the vet about it. We were frazzled, we told him, what was his excuse for missing the ummm missing boy plumbing.
