Don’t get me wrong. I’m not against pits they’re just not a breed I would desire for myself - partially because of the negative stigma though I know they’re absolute loves. I like the versatility of the herding dogs more and tend to gravitate towards that class anyway. Shrug.

But their coats....those are as low maintenance as you could ask for!

A couple of those "absolute loves" nearly tore my DGD's leg off last year. She'll wear that scar for life.

Roberts cat barely ever sheds. They shaved her for spay and it never grew back. Guess it depends on the cat. Now Nugget sheds a lot.

Yes but things don’t get all matted up in it, no need to go to a groomers on a regular basis, etc.

Oh trust. Peach and Lexi both had the double coat of constantly shedding goodness. I know these last two months have been dog hair tumbleweed free...but...

See that seems to be the issue. There’s no in-between - they’re either loves or neurotic and if the dog isn’t properly trained/socialized/handled or bred with a few screws loose yes that is a huge problem. But aggression issues happen in a lot of dogs too. Sheps were the aggressive ones back in the day. Dobermans. Rottweilers.
But I think we can all agree - chihuahuas are the freaking devil lol.
