I know he had them because I treated all of them with Ivermectin. I need to do the coop as well. Just don't have a minute to do anything.

Yeah, he probably had them worse than the others. The first victim gets the worst infestation. He may have some underlying weakness, but to me it sounds like mites caused his problems. Seen it before.

I finally got the pour on. Did you put 1 cc on each bird?

No, I put a bit under each wing, some near the vent and some on the crest.

Blue, My mom, dad and GM and myself always used the same iron skillet for cornbread and we didnt use it for anything else. If its cured right you dont even wash it. Just wipping it out is good. The secret to cornbread is in the skillet you use. Make sure your oven is hot and heat up the skillet w/ whatever oil you want. I use bacon grease.

I do, like Marie Callendar's, more like cake, high, sweet and fluffy ... but what am I saying? Snap out of it! DH likes it short, not sweet, and crispy. Dry and crunchy to my taste. That's the recipe I'm looking for. SOUTH'N corn bread!

jiffy cornbread mix is sweet.

That won't do. Too sweet and fluffy, and last time I looked, it contains lard.
