buttermilk instead of sweet milk and the batter kinda thick.I do, like Marie Callendar's, more like cake, high, sweet and fluffy ... but what am I saying? Snap out of it! DH likes it short, not sweet, and crispy. Dry and crunchy to my taste. That's the recipe I'm looking for. SOUTH'N corn bread!
