Granny's gone and done it again

Everyone that is chronic pain peeps, Yall know exactly whats wrong w/ you sounds like. How were you diagnosed ? They havent told me exactly whats wrong. I have fibro too. arthritis and they said 3 different kinds but I dont know what they are or where at except based on where my pain is. Pain clinic did mention hip replacement to me. One said bursitis in my hips makes the pain worse.

You likely need to see a Rheumatologist for specifics on your arthritis if you need them. I have too many specialists and to be completely honest, I've stopped even trying to see any of them this year. It wasn't really helping much, they just tell you you're broken and give you a bunch of bandaid pills, lol, at least that's how it worked for me. My Neurologist has helped me more than anyone but it will all depend on your ailments and what specialist you need to see. A good general practitioner will know who to send you to.

Nothing helped me except clean eating and building up my muscle. The pan pill just took the edge off, pain was still always there.

Thanks Cluck, I will start w/ my dr. I would like to know just how bad it is. Based on pain its pretty bad. I wonder if they do a full MRI scan to see it ?
My old chiro told me he doesn’t look at xrays. He said he has seen horrible xrays and the patient isn’t even in pain. He has seen people crippled with pain and their xrays look good.

Afternoon everyone.

Granny, I was diagnosed with an MRI of my neck and upper back for the degenerative disc disease, spondylosis and osteoarthritis.

I had a Dexa Scan which diagnosed the osteoporosis and osteopenia (bone death/loss)

The serum negative RA was done by symptomology and labs. My labs for RA or Titer. was negative but my symptoms and joints told the Rheumatologist another story.

I've seen a pain specialist also who recommended RF ablation to my neck nerves but my regular doctor agreed with me when I said that sounded like using a cannon when a .22 bullet was all that was needed. My bullet is RX pain meds, muscle relaxers and aspirin along with Prolia for the osteo.

Just for the record, I HATE Prolia.

Bandaid pills, boy isn't that the truth. Bad day today. I woke up with my lumbar spine painful. I seem to be walking sideways today even when I'm walking straight. Pain pills taking the edge off but man o man does this sofa feel good!

I've yet to see a neurologist. What have they done for you that has helped you? We seem to have the same things going on.
