you cut it out as in 2 cuts or just split the back open?Kinda like butterfly. You cut out the spine, and clean it out that way. Press the breast downward, so that it is flat.

I took two hens to my Amish lady today. Even that was hard. One was old and blind. The other was a spring BA that went lame for some reason. I put her in the infirary with the blind one hoping she would strengthen, but it was not to be. I think it was an injury that just did not get better.I cried the first time. Watch a lot of youtube channels on doing it. Then it helps you come to grips with it. I thank them, even pet them, before putting them into the cone.
