Granny's gone and done it again

Don't they put them beside the road so they can be picked up for disposal? Where else would they put them? I mean, in the cities.
The guys driving for waste management never get out of the truck. Everything has to be in a bin for the grabber to grab and tip into the truck.

The Scouts will pick them up and take them for composting for a $5 donation. Ours go in the green waste bin, except for the trunk which goes on the wood pile.
We don't have service like that here. I guess if we had a real tree it would end up "down yonder" in a gully somewhere for birds and critters to nest in. (We live in the middle of a forest and don't need to plant any more.) H2o, what would you like to see happen to cut trees, for people who have no place to plant one?

Around here, they collect them and put them in bodies of water to create underwater habitats for fish. They don't go to waste.
Not here, they throw them out in the gutter. Nothing sadder than taking My walk and seeing those beautiful trees. Not sure why it bothers me so much. Maybe it’s not the tree maybe it’s just all the sadness in this world. It must be way deeper than the tree.
