Granny's gone and done it again

This is the redwood at the back of the house. It is like a fort for my older mob of 9 hens.

Very roomy, shady on hot days, protection on windy and rainy days, and they are out of sight of predators, but still close enough to the house to beg for treats at every opportunity!

If I was a kid, I would spend a lot of time under there too!

I forgot to tell y’all but my oldest buff orp is laying now! Getting an egg a day. My CL’s look close!

That's great! The buff orps are particularly calm and sweet. There is a lavender orp in my new group and she is really sweet too.

Pretty soon you will have more eggs then you know what to do with !
