With a goal like welding have you ever thought about going towards the coast to the shipyards?  As a woman you'd have that advantage regarding hiring as they do look to "diversify" their workforce in those areas. 
Oh, how I miss CATO!!!  That was DD and I's favorite place to shop when we lived in Indiana -- alas, they aren't out here

we have one on the coast actually. Thankfully in this state there a high demand for freelance welders and what not specially with the rising industries.

I shop there all the time they are getting my Boho style in that goes lovely with the punk look lol.

Mare, sometimes the banty roos sleep on the eggs at night if I don't get them.

Sparkles is back to laying believe it or not, but skinny red still looks like hades from her moult.

They had new Bebe chicks at the feedstore yesterday. Some white leghorns...and some other breeds of interest.

Another feed store in town had a sign. Buy four chicks get a free bag of chicken feed.

I mentioned that to the hubs. "You have eight"

Good morning all

But the time I could get on last night I was in such a mood that I didn't dare. Hoping today is better

BUT not betting on it.

I start the day hearing a FLY buzzing around the house SERIOUSLY in Feb and with snow still everywhere.

Granny sorry about the chicks I don't remember for sure BUT I think you had the same issues when you hatched the fertile eggs you got from the breeder in which case IT IS your bator.
