It rarely snows at sea level which we are at here but the grapevine was closed yesterday and we need to drive to Reno on Thursday and I am afraid they will close that pass. Wind is blowing like crazy and it’s very cold.

Bummer you have to miss another appt, but no way would I drive to Reno this week unless I was driving a snow plow!
I just heard on the radio that 101 is CLOSED in Mendocino county (near Legget) due to SNOW. Best to stay home for a few days... in front of the fire... eating chocolate anything... doing a jigsaw puzzle. Ahhh...

The wind is really picking up now. Hope we don't lose power.

He tried to do it on the way home from idaho once. He wouldn’t turn around. Finally the CHP had the road blocked He drove back to Reno and tried to go around the back way through Lake Tahoe. He can be very stubborn and hardheaded and stupid. Nothing is that important.
