No. It's a Hungarian name and technically should be pronounced noj. As Americans we pronounce it just as you see it, with a long A.

Wow. I was always told poodles were intelligent.
I made a game out of it with peach. If my arms were open wide, she could jump up. If they were at my sides she couldn’t. She figured that out pretty quick but then, she only ever just needed the uh uh or Look for correction. But I get you. That’s why lately I’ve been kind of half avoiding my one neighbor - I’m trying to work on goose having manners when he sees people and not galloping over to them all excited like. (I know he’s still a puppy but....he’s already over 50 lbs!! He could drag my butt across the street when he’s full grown). I’ll check in with her again when he’s a little better with people I can say step back until he settles.

Star, your working on Goose the same thing I need to teach Bandit. Its a circus here when some one knocks or comes over. He jumps into the air from all 4 feet are airborne and licks Nancy in the face. He did Roberts worker the same way.
