Granny's gone and done it again

My 4 polish are laying 3-4 eggs/ day. 1 is tan color. Wonder what that would hatch out to be. No telling.

High yesterday was79*. High today is 59. 15 eggs from my 29 hens & late blooming pullets.

I get a tan egg from a polish imposter. LOL There not supposed to lay tan.

Yes the same like perfect black polish with white tophats.

So look what I found at tractor supply.

I think my husband was just happy I didn't come home with chicks. They had leghorns, golden sexlinks, and unfortunately straight run "americanas"

They also had Marans.

...I do want some white layers...lol. And some more colours. Though Sam is such a headcase...I don't need more spaz chickens.

any chance the egg is from a different hen ? I know one of mine does too but their not supposed to. At least from what I have read.
