So look what I found at tractor supply.

I think my husband was just happy I didn't come home with chicks. They had leghorns, golden sexlinks, and unfortunately straight run "americanas"

They also had Marans.

...I do want some white layers...lol. And some more colours. Though Sam is such a headcase...I don't need more spaz chickens.

Those are so cute! I seen the sign for chick days and had to talk myself out of going in. I want some color other than brown lol last year when I bought my chicks this lady told me that if you mix food dye with the oyster shells the eggs will have color specks. I think I'll try it! But I still want some naturally colored blue or green eggs!

I don't see why it wouldn't work, some of my eggs are speckled white a few days after I put new out. I'll try it after I'm done collecting for the bator. I got it all set up tonight, just waiting to see if it stays at the temp. Hoping it does!

Good morning everyone! Friday was 78F, yesterday it snowed and today it's supposed to be 43F. No wonder everyone is sick and can't get better.
