Well, since you are so experienced and this is my first year planting into a garden bed or directly into the ground…do you recommend planting in garden beds with potting soil, or planting into the ground, but first adding bags of garden soil? And also, how do you prevent things from eating your crops.

I only use sevin dust to control bugs, plant in ground, mix garden soil & peat moss in to your soil, start with something easy---corn, squash, cucumbers, green beans,

Morning all, My Nancy is here. I have a gizmo kaka headache.
Great info on the gardening Im soaking it all in! I found some black eggs on the underside of a tomato leaf. I will use the 7 dust on them today

Here at Snake Central, we had a twofer today!

I found one entering under the door to the goat house, halfway in...and one inside the door for the Mille Fleur D'uccle playhouses. Really tired of snakes. Had to walk to the house and back twice, when I have endless other stuff to do.
