Im getting good at this sleeping thing. Back is stiff ! LOL SD still in ICU still up in the air to intubate or not. I guess she is just on the border there.
15 days til spring .

All caught up! Grats on the little Danna and heny? Anyone else?

Sorry about the trip, star. I was the one putting the kids to bed every night and they were too little to leave in the room alone. So I was in bed between 8 and 10 while everyone else went to music or comedy shows.

But I loved taking them to the beaches and shops.

Granny, sorry to see things weren't going well. I'm a little disappointed that no one stirred up a wild island chicken convo. I was fascinated.

There was a front that we passed through yesterday. There were 8-10 ft swells. The higher up you got, the worse you felt. Kids camp was on the 12th, and after DD called me crying we went back to the room and just slept. Today I'm still seasick, walking around and falling over or into things.

I thought I said something about the chickens, but maybe in a pm. I've seen feral/wild chickens in Hawaii and know they are in the Philippines too. All the domestic chickens we have today came from the jungle fowl found world wide (and more recently, maybe one other wild blue layer from South America). I was reading an article written by a breeder, and his contention was that domesticated chickens released into the wild would revert back to the wild type in 5 generations or so, if they even survived at all. The lighter body, better flying ability, broody cycles, and camouflage feather patterns are what gives a better chance to survive in the wild. All the fun things (mutations really) that people breed for would be gone!

Quote: You be careful, you! Not a spring chicken any more and people depend on you. I sure hope she doesn't have to go on life support... at least her husband will be there for her. Does she have kids?

Praying for her. Is the 15 days until spring (yay!) a general announcement or something more to do with SD condition?
