Granny's gone and done it again

I am still doctoring my chicken that the dog got hold of. Her wound has gone from about a two-inch hole across her back to about a one-inch hole, healing inward from the edges. The margins are a nice, healthy pink and it doesn't seem to bother her when we wash it with saline, slather it with Neosporin and then coat it with Veterycin to keep it moist.

@Granny Hatchet I've been trying to get this posted for I don't know how long. But every time I walk by them I think about you.

In spite of the outrageously wet spring and summer that we have had that drowned out just about everything, I had about four Alyssum plants survive and thrive.

Finally got myself a picture of them peeping out from the marigolds.

Thank you so much. I can't begin to describe how happy these tiny white flowers have made me this summer.View attachment 2792102

Good job!
