Nice tradeHigh 90s today, I have had about enough of that. But I have to go do chores anyway.
My buyer forgot to meet me for her bunny, but showed up after half an hour of my reminder. So I turned a bunny into 2 bags of game bird feed.
I need to go out again. Check all the waterers.
Im happy! Thanks for sharing them. One of my favorites. Mine just got planted.hahaa@Granny Hatchet I've been trying to get this posted for I don't know how long. But every time I walk by them I think about you.
In spite of the outrageously wet spring and summer that we have had that drowned out just about everything, I had about four Alyssum plants survive and thrive.
Finally got myself a picture of them peeping out from the marigolds.
Thank you so much. I can't begin to describe how happy these tiny white flowers have made me this summer.View attachment 2792102
We have something that grows wild here that looks like that but if you leave them unto the flower withers it turns into a little brown bur about the size of a grain of rice. You walk through them and you'll be picking them out of your socks, shoe laces and britches legs for an hour.@Granny Hatchet I've been trying to get this posted for I don't know how long. Thanks for the warning. Alyssum may be something entirely different from what we have wild here. The flowers look the same. Thanks for the warning. I haven't planted alyssum for ages.
We have what they call Beggar's Lice here. They are a weed seed and when you walk through the timber and brush by them they stick to just about everything. We've come in with these BB sized clingy things attached to socks, shoes, pants, shoe laces. We spend more time than I'd like to admit picking them off of us and the dogs. The dogs get on the bed and pull them off of their feet so we can then pull them off the blankets.
I hate Beggar's Lice season....which is coming up next month.
